Background of the Temple
The land measuring 19 acres purchased by Shri K.C. Naik wayback in 1973 had the presence of Naga and Raktheshwari. New worshipping abode has been built for them as per ‘Vastu’. In a ‘Deva Prashna’ by the Astrologer it has come to light that there is Sri Krishna ‘Sannidhya’ in this land itself and in the historical past there was a commitment of constructing Temple for Shri Krishna. Shri K.C. Naik had the divine grace to take up this holy task of constructing a new and magnificent Temple. Thus the Temple of Lord Gopalakrishna has blossomed with inspiration and devotional work of Shri K. C Naik.
One hundred and Eight Pedestals
108 steps right from the bottom to the top symbolize 108 names ‘Ashtothara Shathanama’ of Sri Gopalakrishna and those names too have been depicted on the wall. Of course, a separate approach road has been provided to reach the Temple for aged and disabled devotees for easy access from the back side of the Temple without climbing any steps.

On the outer walls we find very attractive pictures embossed nicely in concrete which depict ‘Govardhana Giridhari’, ‘Samudramathana’, ‘Vedavyasa -Ganapathi’ and ‘Radhakrishna Leela’.
