Annual Festival of Temple (Varshika Mahothsava)was held for two days on 29th and 30th of April 2019. Grand function was arranged with series of program.
On 29th Bhjanothsava was there from morning 8.30 till 12.30. Various Bhjana Team were participated and sung Bhjans. Shri Vasuki Keerthan Thanda, Sharada bhajana Mandali, Shrikrishna Bhajana Mandali, Shri Jaganath Shenoy Mangaluru and Team were among them.
In the afternoon, Classical music (Shasthriya Sageetha) was there by the disciple of Vidushi Vinutha Laksmikant of ‘Nrithyaaradhana’
Later ‘Dharmik Sabha’ was arranged. The managing Director of Karnataka Bank , Shri Mahabaleshwara M.S., presided over the function. The Dharmik Scholar Dr. Sonda Bhaskar Bhat, former professor of Shri Kateel Durgaparameshwari First Grade College delivered discourse on subject “ Shrikrishnaya Vayam Numaha “, regarding “Shrimad Bhagavatha”.
Shri Mahabaleshwara M.S. launched the new web site of Temple and talked regarding the relationship between God and devotees. He well wished to the devotees and every success to the festival.
The function was followed by Bharatha Natyam program by the team of Vidushi Smt. Shailaja Shivashankar of ‘Klanidhi Nrithya Nilaya’, Surathkal.
On 30th, Tender coconut Abhishek (Vishesha Siyala Abhishekha) was performed with great devotion. Then Mahaganapathi Havan and Chandika Havan was also arranged. Navakabhishekh was there to Lord Shri Goplakrishna and Mahaganapathi followed by Mahapooja.
Annasantharpane was arranged for the devotees.
In the afternoon the disciple of Bhajana class of Temple performed Bhajan, ‘Bhakthi Sinchana’.
Yakshgana “Shrirama Dharshna” was arranged by Shri Pancheshwara Mahila matthu Makkala Mela Bayaru , Ksasaragod.
The function was concluded with special pooja – ‘Mahaseve’ , Ranga Pooje followed by distribution of Prasadam.
