Shrikrishna Janmashtami was celebrated in a grand way at Shri Gopalakrishna Temple, Shakthinagar, Mangaluru on 23rd August and Laksha Thulasi Archana on 24th.
From early morning till Midnight auspicious pooja programs were there. Panchamritha Abhisheka, Shri Maha Ganapathi Havana, Special Poojas etc. and Religious discourse (Dharmik Pravachana), prize distribution for school children who won in the competitions held at Shakthi School, cultural programs like Bharath Natya, classical musics and Bhajans were there throughout the day and at Midnight Special Maha Pooja, Arghya Pradan seva was there to Lord Shree Gopalakrishna. Large number of devotees participated.
Next day, on 24th a very auspicious Laksha Thulasi archana seva was there to Lord Shree Gopalakrishna in the noon, followed by ‘Anna Santharpane’, the Prasadam lunch.
