Temple Activities

Daily three time Poojas (Thrikala) are performed.

Temple opens at 5’O clock in the morning. Abhishekam is at 6.00 AM, Daily Ganapathi Havana is at 7.30 AM, Morning Maha Pooja is at 8.00 AM. Noon Maha Pooja is at 12.30. After the noon Maha Pooja temple will be closed at 1.00 PM. and opens at 4.00 PM. Night Pooja is at 8.00PM. Temple closes at 8.30 PM.

Daily Prasada Bhojana ( Prasad Lunch) is served to the devotees after Noon Pooja.

Divinity is mirroring in the very presence of Lord Shri Gopalakrishna and Lord Shri Ganapathy in this temple. A number of religious performances like Sankashtahara Chathurthi, Special Gana Homa, Shri Sathyanarayana Pooja on every Fullmoon day, Shri Shani Pooja on the first Saturday of Shukla Paksha (ie. First Saturday after New moon) are held on regular basis. Devotees participate in these Poojas for their betterment. Prasada bhojana will be served on all these occasions.

Daily Ganapathy Havana is performed at 7.30 in the morning. On Shri Ganesh Chathurthi day, 108 coconut Ganapathy Havana is performed. On the annual festival day Chandika Havana is performed

We are anxious to place before the devotees that our temple is celebrating traditional festivals of our ancient Hindu religion. They are Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Shri Ganesh Chathurthi, Deepavali, Chandramana Yugadi, Sourmana Yugadi (Vishu Kani) and Nagara Panchami.

Annual function marking the inauguration or ‘Prathistha’ day is celebrated in a grand way on 16th day of ‘Mesha Masa’ ( ie. either on April 29th or 30th). Especially ‘Siyaalabhisheka’( tender coconut abhisheka) and Shri Chandika Havana are performed on that day followed by Maha Anna Santharpane. Dharmika Pravachanas, Sankeerthanas, Cultural activities like Bhatha Natyam, Classical Music concerts, Bhjans etc. are also arranged on that day.

Dasara, Ayudha Pooja, Vidhyadashami, bringing new paddy crop (Thene Habba) and similar religious functions are too performed.

Devotees offer prayers and seek blessings from Shri Gopalakrishna Swamy to have marriage, Santhathi, (to have Child birth) Children’s education, health, peace of mind, settlements of debts and similar aspirations fulfilment. Thulabhaaram Seva is also very auspicious in this temple and devotees offer this seva for their fulfillments. “Maha Seva”- Ranga pooja is also of great importance here.

On request of devotees Ganapathy Homa/ Pooja, Baala Ganapathy Homa, Chandika Havana, Grahashanthi Homa, Sandhi Shanthi Homas, Swayamvara parvathy Homa, Santhana Gopalakrishna Homa, Mruthyunjaya Homa, Sudarshana Homa etc are performed.

Poojas like Shri Sathyanarayana Pooja, Shani Pooja, Durga Pooja, Shiva Pooja, Vidyaarambha, Anna Praashana etc. are also performed in the Temple.

Special day Poojas

The Temple is celebrating traditional festivals of our ancient Hindu religion. They are Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Shri Ganesh Chathurthi, Deepavali, Chandramana Yugadi, Sourmana Yugadi ( Vishu Kani) and Nagara Panchami. Shri Krishna Janmashtami or Gokulashtami is marked with special offerings, pooja, Arghya Pradaana etc, followed by ‘Laksha Tulasi Archana’ and feeding or ‘Anna Santharpane’ on the following day. On Ganesh Chathurthi, Ganapathi Havana of 108 coconuts will be performed. Deepavali is celebrated in a grand way for three days by lighting up of thousand lamps i.e. ‘Sahasra Deepothsava’ right from auspicious day ‘Naraka Chathurdashi’ upto Balipadya. Gou Pooja is also arranged on that day with great devotion. Devotees also participate in Gou Pooja personally. From Balipadyami to ‘Uttana Dwadashi’(- Thulasi Pooja) Shri Thulasi Nama Sankeerthana, Bhajana and Pooja to ‘Thulasi Maatha’ are performed with great devotion.
